I have been doing some driving practice for some time now and my friends have been urging me to take the DMV driving test now so that if I fail, I would know where I need improvement on. Last week I was thinking of giving it a shot but when I got to the DMV online appointment for the actual driving test, I chickened-out. I just felt so scared suddenly. I felt so not ready yet.
I have to get my driver’s license this July before my driving permit expires again, for the third time. This is my second driving permit and if it expires again, I will need to get another one for 30 dollars again.
Argggh, I just feel a bit upset. I want to do it, but I feel I need more time especially with doing parking, changing lanes and freeway driving. Just thinking about doing the test gives me cold sweat.
Today the driving instructor will pick me up, I’ll see what he says about my driving skills. But whatever he says, I think I should definitely take the driving test this June.
But my mind is screaming,” DON’T, I AM NOT READY YET!!!”
I’m so scared…

Chari: Hi Ging, the instructor wasn’t strict but he doesn’t let me go to the next step till I get something first. Like parking by the curb, he repeatedly let me do it till I got it then we moved on to the next .

I know you can do it, if i can you can too, just always think if others can then you can also, i understand what you feel coz i am on that stage right now on driver’s training, nung una takot din ako pero pagna try mo and you gain confidence on yourself it will be easy so goodluck, and you can do it….

Chari: Hi Mirin , thanks for the comforting advice. I took the test last July 1 and I did pass it right away so I am truly happy. I just prayed a lot really and that did it. I give thanks to the Lord for helping me pass that test!
hi cha! can you pls. tell me the route of behind the wheel test in tracy ca. i will be taking my test on feb 4. i didn’t make it in pleasanton ca. last dec. 24. i dont want to fail again. thanks! togs =)
Hi there, I just got your comment. I wish I can remember the route. I tried to retrace the way using the Google Street View but I really can’t remember any of it. Sorry!
All I can remember was that we did not go to the freeway, thank God! , she did not let me do parallel parking and she only let me park in a residential area then told me to back it straight. Then we went back to the DMV office. The DMV lady was African American and was very kind.
Now,remember to stop before the limit lines, and to stop by the STOP signs and count “one one thousand, two one thousand, three one thousand” before going again. Those were my mistakes so don’t do those.
