Something’s wrong with my blog. I didn’t know it but just now, I am trying to view my entry regarding Fiancee Petition but the page just doesn’t come up. It keeps saying “opps, this link is broken” or “URL not found”.
What is wrong with this? Must have happened when my little bro switched servers again??

I have never been a poem lover, but I love to read Desiderata when I feel down and weary with life…
Read on, maybe you will find some solace in its words just like I did.
Desiderata
– written by Max Ehrmann in the 1920s –
Go placidly amid the noise and the haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender,
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even to the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons;
they are vexatious to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs,
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals,
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love,
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment,
it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

I watched American Idol’s Finale tonight and yes, it ’s unbelievable that Kris Allen won over Adam Lambert. I was wishing that Kris wins AI and he did!
I am happy for him, he seems like a real nice boy and he can sing without having to wail and scream unlike the other one. I couldn’t believe he won over Adam since I’ve read a lot of comments favoring Adam Lambert and not Kris.
I like Kris because when he sings, I can still understand the lyrics and his voice is really clear even if he’s trying to reach the high notes. Especially during the day before this finale, Kris Allen really shone with the way he sang those songs, I could understand what he was singing, the melody was there but not Adam who as always was screaming at the top of his lungs.
During the announcement he just couldn’t believe it was he who won. He said ” This is crazy” and he couldn’t say anything more. I think Ryan Seacrest wanted him to show some excitement and say something but he looked really unprepared and lost for words. But me thinks that he was really happy that he won but he just couldn’t show it too much because he knows that Adam also wanted to win really bad. Well now, don’t feel bad Kris, a lot of the voting public still loves simplicity, humility and real talent.
I am happy for you Kris. You deserved to win. Stay humble.
