If There’s No God..

Posted by Chari  Published in Faith and God

I have this urge to write again because I have to speak up for what I believe in.

Have you seen the comments on YouTube if there is a topic that talks about God and Jesus? If you will only take the time to read the comments, there are just so many haters and unbelievers. Sadly, there are many people who are missing out in their lives because they cannot and do not feel God, and that is in spite of His blessings to them.

But why can’t they realize that there is a God who feels our pain and is very alive in our lives if only we take a moment to evaluate our lives? For all the haters , I want to ask them these questions..

If there is no God, then why is it that when we pray, our prayers get answered??  How many times did we needed help and we prayed and He answered?

If there is no God , then why do we get miracles of healing, of being healed from simple sicknesses to  cancer and other deadly diseases?

If there is no God, then why is it that people who are boastful or prideful, or have done us wrong  gets punished in one way or another? It’s because He knows, only He can see the injustices done to us. And He will bring justice to our lives…

If there is no God, why is it that help comes our way, just when we needed it the most, at the perfect time too?

If there is no God, then why do we feel the strength to go on despite of problems that seem unsurmountable? It’s because of God, He talks to us in our hearts and give us the courage to go on with life…

For all the haters and unbelievers, go on if you want to go on, but we who believe would want you to open your hearts to God. You have to know,  we as individuals, are responsible for our own spirituality, for our own souls and no one else. When we get there to face our Judgement day, we will stand there alone. We are responsible for every little thing that we have done, and every belief that we stood and fought for. If you didn’t believe then that is your choice, but be ready to face the consequences.

Things Happen for A Reason…

Posted by Chari  Published in Faith and God

Do you believe that things happen to us for a reason, that some people come to our lives for a reason? I once received this forwarded email years ago and never took notice of it …

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.

They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support,

to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are.

They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,

this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.

Sometimes they die.  Sometimes they walk away.

Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.

What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done.

The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.

They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.

They may teach you something you have never done.

They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.

Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons,

things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.

Your job is to accept the lesson,

love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.

It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being a part of my life,

whether you came for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

Things happen for a reason , and only God knows the reason why some things happen like that, it hurts but it has to happen, trust that God is working behind the scenes and that things will turn out right in the end.

On Suicide

Posted by Chari  Published in Faith and God

I was so shocked to hear the news that prominent newscaster Ted Failon’s wife committed suicide and passed away this week. His wife’s friends think she committed suicide because of financial problems, she had used up all their savings and was too scared to tell Ted.

That is so sad and I just don’t get it. If one has a problem, how huge is it that you would be willing to take your life for it ? How can one just commit suicide like that? Isn’t the thought of leaving your family good enough to make you change your mind? We Filipinos are said to be very resilient and religious. Our belief in the Almighty who loves us makes us even more stronger to face the trials in our lives. So this kind of news really does baffle me why she did it. I am so shocked and very sad for her, her children and her husband too.

Even here in the USA, because of financial problems and layoffs , some people have lost faith and have committed suicides too ! One billionaire took his life, one man killed all members of his family and later killed himself. They think  it’s already the end of the world for all of them just because they lost their jobs and are going through financial hardships.

It’s so sad, why take your life just because you are having problems?

My friends, if you have a problem that you think is so huge, what else is there to do but to pray hard and to hang on to the God who has made us and has put us in this world. Everyone of us has his own problem but I believe that God will not give us that problem if He thinks we cannot handle it. He will give you that enormous courage to face life. So even if people has stopped to care for you, even if you feel so alone and scared to live in this cruel world, hang on because God sees our worries and problems and He’ll bail us out in time. So please do not take your life, it’s not ours to take. Let God decide when it’s time for us to go.

“Our life is God’s gift to us, what we do with it , is our gift to God”.
