Naku sis…most of the time I think that way too. I get stubborn when it should be time to get medical check up because I get scared of the thought what if I have it? Gosh, I have some lumps too, although it was checked several years ago, I feel it should be checked again. Well, let’s keep praying. God only knows. Have a nice Sunday. :)

Thanks Ging, I hope mine doesn’t show up anything too. I feel scared just thinking of going to a check up. I don’t know when I’ll go for that check up but just to not aggrevate anything, and to be safe, I will eat healthy now. :)

Take care my friend and enjoy your holiday tomorrow.

i think that we really need to start being more careful on what we put in our own body esp. what we eat and drink, and not to ignore if our body seems to indicate that we need to stop and relax, and have a doctors check if we felt something is wrong, prevention is better than cure,it is not easy when a love one has a cancer, and more devastating to the person itself,so let’s all start a healthier lifestyle…HEALTH IS WEALTH!!!

So true Ate Lib, so true.

Let’s hope that anybody who reads this will start taking things seriously. Let’s all say yes to a healthier lifestyle and do things right for a healthier “us”.

thanks for the reminder, or should i say reminders. actually, i am a health concious person but there’s one thing i can’t avoid when it comes to exercising, to the full extent, my consistency. and that is, to completely ignore it when i’m with friends-in drinking sessions in particular. the filipino thingy(pakikisama) is still overpowering me on that matter.
is it ok to say no to them the next time around…coz being with them for a drinking spree would mean “sky is the limit.”

just sharing. they are so close to me that i think, for every man, is a difficult thing to avoid. hope you attend to this very infantile query of mine.

My father had lots of friends too when they go drinking. He too find it hard to say “No” because of that innate “pakikisama” nature of Pinoys but when he began to get sick, none of his “drinking- spree” friends were there and all stayed away from him from then on . THey were all there for him during the ” happy hours “, but none stayed when his health failed.

It all started with innocent drinking sessions till he became an alcoholic.

It all depends on you my friend, what your priorities in life are. In the end, we’re the ones to face the consequences of our actions, not the friends that we shared the action with. It’s nice to have friends especially if they lead us to the right path or at the least, influence us to do things that are worthwhile…

Be good… :)
