Baby John at Six Months Old

Baby Johnrey is now six months, 10 days old to be exact. I have totally forgotten to do a status report on him like what my sister-in-law Cin has done for her JC. JC is my nephew in Taiwan. Such a cute and chubby baby. Cin has done a really good job with him. On a monthly basis, Cin did a status report on JC’s progress. It was really neat. I particularly love this one . How I wish I was also able to do my homework too with my Johnrey. Well, it’s not yet that late so I shall be doing it today , it wouldn’t be as good as Mommy Cin’s though.

Johnrey at six- months old :

• weighs 19 pounds so me and Dad have to alternate holding him.. especially when we go to church..
• has now a daily , steady schedule which are as follows

        4AM  wake up and have his bottle,  5AM   goes back to sleep, 7AM wakes up again and it’s  playtime, TV time, eating time, poopy time, crying time, 11AM to Sleepyland again.. will wake up at around 1PM to repeat the process of playtime , TV time, eating time, pooping time, crying time… and then sleep again at 4PM … wakes up at 5Pm, repeat process… this time the playing time is with Dad… the day ends with him sleeping at 10PM … will sometimes wake up at around 1AM or if I am lucky, he will wake up at 4AM …

• can now sit- up a little bit but not without me scrambling to get all the pillows to support him just in case he flops down on his face , on his back or whatever side he wants to fall in..
• is a very talkative baby.. he makes sounds like a-teh ( is he asking for a sister? ) , nan-nah ( oh, he knows Mom’s nickname already ) , or dadah…. but he never attempts to say Mama
• can now crawl in a writhing motion, like a worm. He can do flips and rolls when he is on the active mode so one moment he is on the bed watching TV, the next he would be on the floor coz he has managed to go to the bed’s end..
• can talk endlessly even in the wee hours of the morning…
• always has a ready smile even when I scold him..
• already has his favorite tv show which is Barney. He specially likes it when that pink dino starts singing , I love you, you love me, we’re a happy family… 

• can drink 9 ounces of milk during his I’m-ready-to-sleep moment… but if during his active time, he only drinks about 5 ounces…
• likes to think that his Dad’s coffee is for him so everytime Dad takes the cup to drink, John would follow it with his mouth open and all ready to drink…
• has facial rashes which started during the winter season. I have tried everything, will try changing his baby formula tomorrow, one with soy as advised by Ate Truds.
• is now a child actor, coz he pretends to have the cough everytime we try to clean his nose.. he doesn’t stop the acting until we stop what we are doing
• has never been sick, never had a cold, or anything not even when everybody in the house had the flu
• started to suck oranges and apples at age four months.
• has already two lower incisor teeth

Okay this is all that I remember at the moment. I hope to remember everything in the following days…
